Do You Have Something Similar to a 8-91A Hub in a 5 Lug Pattern Instead of 4 on 4?

Updated 01/06/2025 | Published 01/01/2025

Question:

Hello, I have a 2003 car mate trailer that has Dexter 69-48 axle and 8-91A hubs. They are currently 4 lug but I was wondering if they make the Hub in 5 lug. I am looking for either 5x5 or 5x5.5. Thank you so much!

Hello Ryan,

How about a 5 on 4 1/2 bolt pattern? I looked up the specs on the 8-91A and it has both L44649 for the inner and outer bearing. I do not have any hubs in a 5 on 5, or 5 on 5.5" like you requested, but we do have them in a 5 on 4 1/2" which now a days is an extremely common bolt pattern. Our Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2K Axles # AKIHUB-545-2-LF-2K will work great just as long as your wheels are 13-15", for EZ lube spindle you want # AKIHUB-545-2-LFEZ-2K. If your wheels are on the smaller range from 10"-12" you will want # AKIHUB-545-2-2K and for EZ lube # AKIHUB-545-2-EZ-2K. I hope the 5 on 4 1/2" works for you. When you get things swapped out, let me know what you think of our hubs. I have only heard great things, so I would like to keep that streak going.

Happy New Year! From, your friends here at etrailer.
