Question:

I have a 2014 Ford F450 cab and chassis with a CM bed on it. Will these air bags AL57596 fit this truck. I have a farm and do a lot of hauling and pulling a gooseneck. I recently put different wheels and tires on the truck. The 35 inch tires that I put on, rub the bed once I hook up and load the gooseneck. I am going to put airbags on the truck, so it want sit down. I would like the heaviest airbags for this truck that I can get. Thank you for any assistance. Have a great New Year’s Day.

Hey Jason, thanks for reaching out, and happy new year to you as well! We do have an air bag kit for the 2014 Ford F-450 cab and chassis, but the # AL57596 you mentioned is for the F-450 super duty, and this will not fit the cab and chassis models.

Instead what I recommend is the Air Lift # AL57345. These are the 5,000 lb capacity air bags which are the heaviest avaialble for your vehicle. The brackets are custom fitted for the F-450 C&C (diagram below). Please note that in order to use this kit you must have at least 9" between the outside of the frame and the inside of the tire, so I do suggest you measure to verify fitment. As long as you have 9" or more they will fit and work great for preventing any sagging while you are pulling your gooseneck.

If you need a compressor I recommend the Air Lift Load Controller II Compressor System # AL25592 which will allow you to monitor and fill the bags on the go.
