Question:
Hello. We have a 2014 Ford F350 that is leveled with 33 inch tires. So its a little bit taller than stock versions. Do I need another part to bring the ball/hitch on the truck down far enough to start with the ball and the trailer tongue level? Wondered if there was an additional bar or something needed for a taller truck. Thanks

Hey Charlotte, I would say it's very likely you are going to need a new shank with the Fastway Weight Distribution system part # FA94-00-0800 to allow you to have the amount of drop you'll need since this has a max drop of 3-1/2 inches.
The part # FA92-02-4214 can do a drop of 5-1/2 inches and the part # FA92-02-4315 can do a drop of up to 9-3/4 inches.
You'd want to measure from the top of your hitch opening to the ground and compare that to the distance from the bottom of the coupler lip on your trailer to determine how much drop you'd need.
