What Type Of Metal Is Used On The Tekonsha Replacement USCAR Trailer Connector TK37CR

Question:
Are the flap sprints stainless? What about the mounting clips on the back? Are the spade terminal connectors plated zinc or brass or some other rust resistant coating? Trying to figure out how weather/corrosion resistant this thing is and the quality of the build.

Hello again, Alex. The mounting clips, spade connectors and flap springs on the Tekonsha Replacement USCAR Trailer Connector # TK37CR are all zinc plated steel. So it will have decent rust resistance. Not as good as stainless obviously but still solid.
