Switching between different trailers doesn’t have to be a hassle. This TowSmart ProClass plug gives you both a 7-way blade and a 4-flat connector in one unit, so you can tow a small utility trailer one day and a camper with electric brakes the next. No adapters or swapping plugs—just connect the trailer and go.
Loose or hanging connectors can quickly get damaged. The twist-mount design locks the plug securely in place on the vehicle end, keeping it steady and protected from road debris. It’s a clean, professional setup that stays put even after years of towing.
Built for the vehicle side of the connection, this plug handles everything from running lights to brake signals and accessory power, depending on your trailer wiring. It’s tough enough for heavy use and versatile enough to cover most towing setups without extra hardware.
Because it’s a plug-only piece, you can install it as part of an existing wiring system without having to replace your whole harness. It’s a simple way to upgrade or replace a worn connector and keep your lighting circuit reliable every time you tow.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this TowSmart ProClass Twist Mount Seven-Way and Four-Way Flat Trailer Connector. Now, this twist mount socket is going to install directly into your truck's factory knockout, and this is going to give you both a seven-blade and a four flat trailer connector in one nice compact unit. And that twist lock design is gonna help keep it secure in place. This is a sealed housing, so that's gonna help protect your wiring from dirt and moisture and corrosion. So on the seven-way, the door here is spring-loaded, and on the four-way, it's not.
Just wanted to point that out there for you. But it is gonna keep those connection points nice and secure and clean when it's not in use when you have both of those flaps or doors down. Let me put a ruler up to this, give you some overall measurements so you have a good idea of the size. So the overall width, about 3 1/2". The overall height is about almost 3 1/2" as well.
The overall depth about 3 1/4" end to end. And just the depth of the unit itself without the socket, see, if you can see that, about 1 7/8", let's say. Very durable unit, it feels like. I think it's gonna hold up really well for you. If you happen to have any other additional questions, don't hesitate to reach back out to us.

It looks nice and twisted into the bumper but the plug is loose not giving it a connecting and it falls out. So this will not work with the factory plug on a 2013 Chevy Silverado. I’ll have to return it
