Re: Hollywood rack 2 bike Destination. Will this hold Giant Trance 3s? A 29 wheel mountain bike. Thank you.

Hi Tom; I wasn't able to find specific specs for a Giant Trance 3s so I'm not 100% sure if the bike rack can hold it. Looking at similar models like the Trance X 3 I'm willing to bet it can. As long as your bike doesn't weigh more than 35 lbs, have a wheelbase larger than 48", or have a tire width greater than 3.0" the # HLY94FR will work for your bike.

Hi Robin, Thanks for the info. If by wheelbase, it's axel to axel, it's about 45". We currently have a Thule Dual, which is quite heavy to put on and take off and cumbersome. Looking for something lighter, lockable, and will hold both bikes. Seemed like the Hollywood is a good choice. We have a 24 Subaru Crosstrek with 2" hitch, and don't drive far with the bikes. I kind of ruled out the hanging racks as the bikes would need a crossbar to work and a little higher lifting. Best, Tom
