Mounted easily but wrong bolts were included. My bike rack fits very loose compared to my old hitch.

Works well. Easy to install. I did trim the panel, but I did not reinstall it yet because I need to purchase some more plastic push fasteners. My one complaint with the hitch is that it sits low, a bit lower than the muffler. On the etrailer YouTube channel they show an xd with a slightly different hitch on it. They mention that both that hitch and the curt are basically the same, but the other hitch seems to sit much higher. Haven't had any problems scraping the ground so far.
This hitch is working really well with a 2 bike rack. Careful over steep drive-ways since the Scion XD sits low. We have it on a 2013 Scion XD. Install not bad at all.
Easy to install and haven't had any issues towing my small trailer with motorcycle on board!

Ive driven thousands of miles with a small trailer and a motorcycle loaded with zero issues. The hitch is perfect for my small car and was easy to install. Going strong at two years!
I had no problems installing the hitch receiver, and I can recommend it for use with my bike carrier.
Seems very well built however there was some damage when this hitch arrived. One end plate was bent inward as if it had been dropped on its end (looking at you, UPS). I was able to clamp it in my bench vice and mostly straighten the bend. I'm sure tightening the bolts further straightened that end plate. Over all it seems good, although I have yet to tow anything.
Well made, good installation insrtuctions, easy install, would purchase again.

Were you able to get hardware to get it installed? I recommend looking into something like an anti rattle collar or pin like # e38FV that is going to make the bike rack fit tighter and reduce that play you are experiencing.
