Michael: Hi, there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the replacement wheel strap assembly by Hollywood Racks. This is going to replace the ratcheting wheel strap assembly for your Hollywood Racks Destination bike rack, whether that be the two-bike or the four-bike option. This is going to install on your rack's wheel tray to secure your bike to the carrier. It includes the ratchet strap here, as well as the buckle.
Ratchet that down. It's also going to include the nuts and the bolts, as well as the wheel rim protector. Just like the original, this strap is right about 15 inches long, so it's going to do a good job of wrapping around your wheels and ratcheting down so that you can make sure that the bike stays in place on the carrier. If you've lost or damaged your original ratcheting strap that came with your Hollywood Racks bike carrier, this is going to be the piece that you need. It is a Hollywood Racks product, so you can trust it's going to work for your bike rack. You're not going to have to worry about compatibility issues or making any sort of modifications or anything like that.
This is a direct replacement from Hollywood Racks, so you can trust it's going to work well for you. That's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.

Replaces the ratchet wheel strap for your Hollywood Racks Destination bike racks (HR4000 and HR4200). Includes ratcheting wheel strap, buckle, rim protector, and installation bolt and nut.The straps on my folding bike rack from defunct Performance Bikes (Transit Transporter) were getting old, stiff, and brittle. They were about to fail, so I bought these as potential replacements. They fit fine, just a few inches too long. So, I trimmed them with a tin snips.. perfecto. The photo shows the original grey straps, not the new ones which are black. Also, I didn’t need the hardware for anything but the new straps are not available without the hardware. Still a bargain vs losing a bike or putzing with velcro straps.
Just what I needed and good quality!
Works real good for my step thru bike with the balloon tires. The straps I had was to short.
Exactly what I needed!
They fit like new. our originals were broken when hit by a truck.
Just received, they appear to be just what we needed!
great
