Expert Reply:

The Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer, # Y08107 for the 78 inch or # Y08106 for the 66 inch can handle either one 17 foot kayak or two 16 foot kayaks.

Extension are available for longer kayaks. Using extension # Y08109 you will be able to carry up to one 22 foot kayak or two 21 foot kayaks.
