Congrats on the new truck Steve! To add a gooseneck hitch to your 2025 GMC Sierra 2500, I recommend the Curt item # C60642. This gooseneck hitch is the same one GM installs in their brand new trucks. The custom fit brackets install into preexisting holes in your Sierra's frame.
I have attached a couple of pictures below along with an installation video to help you get this hitch set up and show you what it looks like once installed.
To make towing with a gooseneck trailer easier, I recommend adding the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector - 7' Long item # C53CR. This harness puts a 4-way and 7-way connector in the bed of your truck and allows you to keep the one on your bumper. This makes hooking up to your gooseneck trailer easier and more convenient.
