Will Thule Thule T2 Pro XTR for 4 Bikes Hold Four 55 lb E-Bikes

Can the Thule t2 xtr rack with the add on support four 55lb e mountain bikes?

Hi Steve; when you use the add-on it becomes with Thule T2 Pro XTR # TH69TX. The bike rack is only capable of holding a total of 160 lbs so 40 lbs per bike. The only bike rack we have that can handle 55 lbs per bike is the Benton # B82FR. Outside of that you're looking at pulling batteries to try and cut the weight for other bike racks to handle it.

Hey Steve, did you end up going with the Benton rack or try removing the e-bike batteries to stay under the weight limit? Knowing what worked might help others hauling heavier e-mountain bikes.
