Recommended 10" Diameter x 2-1/4" Hydraulic Brakes for a Boat Trailer

Updated 12/15/2025 | Published 11/08/2024

Question:

I have a Trailmaster pontoon tandem axe trailer with one axe having hydraulic surge brakes. Model number is WBT2440BBR from 2010 which I cant find any manuals for it. Measured the trailer hub drum assembly and its 10inch x 2 1/4. AXIS 08H14 10.09. Was looking at replacing with AKUBRK-35-D and AKHD-545-35-K if the drum is bad once I take it off. Would these be the correct replacement parts? Note: If by any chance you find a manual for this trailer can I also get a link for it.

Hey Joe thanks for the information! We don't have access to manuals that aren't available online and I wasn't able to find anything. The etrailer Hydraulic Trailer Brakes item # AKUBRK-35-D are 10" diameter x 2-1/4" wide so as long as your brake flanges on your trailer's axle are four bolt these will be perfect for you.

As far as the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly item # AKHD-545-35-K go, I'll need the part numbers off of the bearings in your current hubs to confirm these will fit. There's no database that tells me what's on your trailer. If you need replacement hubs you can comment below or email me directly with the part numbers stamped into the sides of the bearings.

Hey Joe, were you able to confirm the bearing part numbers for your Trailmaster trailer hubs? Knowing that would show if the hub and drum assembly you mentioned was the right fit. Your update could make it easier for others working on older Trailmaster trailers.
