Hey James, yes the Progressive Dynamics 4000 Series part # PD4060K would be correct to replace what you have now and does have a Lithium battery charge profile. You could definitely install this by yourself.

Installed the PD4060 into my travel trailer. Trying to finish up wiring on the DC side. I have a battery disconnect provided by Winnebago near the battery box. The white battery wire (-) goes to the negative battery terminal post in the converter, but having trouble with the single red (+) positive cable. Do I keep the jumper in and connect the positive to the battery positive post or do I remove the jumper and connect the positive red battery wire to the positive DC post (lower right on the jumper)? Thanks for any help you can give.
