Hey Tony! Sorry but there's no way to attach a set of 5th wheel rails to a flat bed with a recessed ball. The gooseneck will be in the way and you won't be able to attach the 5th wheel brackets to the frame.
The only solution I have for you is to sell your Curt Q24 item # C16245 and replace it with the Demco Recon item # DM8550046. This 5th wheel hitch was designed specifically to attach to gooseneck balls in recessed wells. It has a 21,000 lbs capacity. You will want to make sure the top of the gooseneck ball is 13/16" or closer to the top of the truck bed for the Recon to work.

Hey Tony, how did things go with the Demco Recon on your F350’s flatbed setup? Did the recessed ball height work out for the hitch? Your update could make it easier for others working with a similar bed and gooseneck setup.
