Question:

2006 Ram 3500 looks like it would rub paint off, will it ? I now have a Dee Zee lowering strut installed, works great on lowering no help on lift, will they work together?

I spoke with my contact at DeeZee and he said that you shouldn't have a problem using the Hopkins EasyLift, # 74211, and the DeeZee Tailgate Assist, # DZ43300 at the same time on your 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 but since they have not been tested together, it is not a guarantee.

Although we have numerous satisfied customers that have not mentioned having any problems with their paint while using the Hopkins EasyLift, # 74211, you are still dealing with two metal components having contact with each other. Anytime there is metal to metal contact, there is a good chance that paint will rub off or chip.
