Today, we're going to take a look at the Peterson Round Pedestal Mount Trailer Stop, turn, and tail light with the red lens. Now this is a single face trailer tail light that'll serve three functions when it's properly mounted. Stoplight, tail light and turn signal light. And it is interchangeable with similar lights and it uses an incandescent ball that can be easily replaced. You can see it as this red lens over the bulb. The bulb type is two zero five seven, and it's a durable black plastic housing with the red Snap-on lens.
Now this is compatible with 12 volt DC systems. We've mentioned it as a pedestal Mount. It includes the stud, the nut and two washers for installation. It is a two wire design. You can see it has two power leads, a red and a black.
The black is for 12 volt power wire. The red is for connecting to break and turn wire and it grounds through this stud.I am going to hook this up later, just to show you how this lights up. This light is DOT (department of transportation) compliant. Power draw on this at 12.8 volts is 2.1 amps. A few dimensions, the overall diameter, one end to the other is right at four and one eighths inches.
The depth from the widest point, which is at the center here. It's going to be right at two and three eights inches deep. And the mounting stud dimension is a half inch diameter. Total length on the stud is one and three eighths inches.So now what I'm going to do is we're going to go ahead and hook up the 12 volt power to the black, hook up the brake and turn to the red, and then we're going to ground it. So I'm just going to hook it to the washer right here.
Get a good ground hopefully, let's do it down here. There we go ahead. Turn on our power, and you can see there's your tail light function. So we'll go ahead and turn off the overhead lights. Then you can see your brake light function gives you a brighter light when you apply the brakes. And then when you do your turn signals, same way, it's a brighter light. So it'll give you your tail lights, your stoplight, and your turn signal light. Go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights, turn off our power. That should do it for the review on the Peterson Round Pedestal Mount trailer stop, turn tail light with the red lens..

Awesome service and delivery time
I am working on a 1948 Mack L Model 19. It was the front half of a ladder trailer for the Baltimore, MD Fire Dept. Therefore it never had lights, nor flaps on the rear. These Lights I bought are just "old school" enough to fill the bill for me.
