Question:

Does it matter which side you install the the Tail gate assit to and can you installboth items on the same tail gate and get the benifit of both worlds. Easy Lift tail gate and Tail gate assist?

The designs of the Hopkins EasyLift, # 74211, and the DeeZee EZ Down Lowering System, # DZ43100 allows these two products to be installed on your 2007 Chevy Silverado Classic without interfering with each other. Our contact at DeeZee stated these two products should work together, however, they have not been tested together so it is not guaranteed.

Both products can be installed on the same side of the truck (driver side). I included a link to instructions and a video for you.
