Question:

Looking for front Receiver Hitch to fit a 2021 Wrangler Rubicon 4xe. All the ones I see say excluding Rubicon. Am I out of luck? Saw a post on your QandA where someone purchased a unit for the same model. Planning on using the hitch for 2 electric bikes 45 lbs each.

Hello Ben.

You are definitely in the right spot. The Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # 65079 will work great for you. On the product page where it says "excluding Rubicon" and then below that it just says "Rubicon," this means that it works for models. I agree, it's confusing. This front hitch can handle a Vertical load of 500 lbs which is more that enough for your 2 e-bikes. It also has a Line pull of 9,000 lbs, and a Gross trailer weight of 5,000 lbs.

I have attached an install video as well, it's on a 2018 but the install will be the same.

Also, if you do not have a bike rack yet for your 2 e-bikes, I recommend Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # HLY84FR it has a weight capacity of 80 lbs per bike. Its one of the only racks we have that is rated for the front mount. I am attaching a review video so you can check it out.
