Does Curt Front Hitch C31086 Fit 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon

Question:

Looking at the the Curt C31086 and the product page indicates fit excludes the Rubicon. Several related questions indicate that it does fit but the steel shield must be permanently removed. Is the exclusion because of the shield or is there other issues that exclude the rubicon

You can install the Curt front hitch # C31086 on your 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon but you will have to modify the heat shield like you mentioned. The Draw Tite part # 65079 is also a fit and requires less modification though so it would be what I would recommend.
