What are the Opening Dimensions of the DeeZee Specialty Series Trailer Tongue Tool Box

Question:
DZ91717P I can see youve provided the external dimensions several times in answers to previous questions. I would like to know the internal dimensions, especially that of the top opening, meaning the inside of the inner lip, since there is thickness to the walls, and the hinge takes away some as well. This is so I can see the maximum size of an object that can fit directly into the box through the opening. Thank you!

Hey Tristan,
I wasn't able to get my hands on the DeeZee Specialty Series Trailer Tongue Tool Box # DZ91717P and I haven't gotten a response back from DeeZee yet so I went out and measured the opening on the Buyers Products Trailer Tongue Toolbox # 3371701680 which has similar external dimensions and I was able to get some dimensions of this opening which you can see in the attached photo.
