Can Two Different Size Wheels Be Used With a Boat Trailer

Question:
I have a tri axle boat trailer. Not sure of make n model. Wondering if I can use two sizeswidths of rims. Have two 6” and five 8” rims. Using all six tires same size. Can I use two 6” on lead axle and four 8” on the 2nd and 3rd drum brake axles? Thanks

Hey Stephen, as long as the tires are the same size you could use different size wheels. Ideally you'd want to keep everything the same, but if your tires are all the same size then a few wheels that are a bit narrower shouldn't make a difference.
