Updated 01/05/2026 | Published 09/26/2024

Question:

I have an RV parking spot at my houses The only way into the spot is on the backside alley way, but it was to narrow for truck that towed the trailer to be able to park it now what do I do it fits in the spot the truck I rented to tow it was too big to be able to park it. Is people with a tractor or a smaller truck that can help? Someone you rent?

Hey Amanda! Not sure if there's people who can move your trailer in your area but it sounds like you need a trailer dolly if you're going to be parking your RV in the same spot. I recommend the Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly with Chain Drive item # TVXL2 with a 2" hitch ball or item # TVXL25 with a 2-5/16" hitch ball.

Both of these dollies have a 10,000 lbs capacity and can be easily operated by a chain drive handle or you can attach an electric drill. The dual wheels work on pavement, gravel, dirt, or grass. These are designed to be used on level surfaces though.

I have linked a review video below so you can see the features of the Trailer Valet demonstrated.

Hey Amanda, how did things go with the Trailer Valet XL dolly for moving your RV into that tight parking spot? Your experience could point others in the same situation toward a good solution.
