Question:
Hello, Im currently in the process of building a custom length RV power cable. My cable is for a 50 amp connection, the wire which is a 6/3 awg size with red, black, green, white. Im currently looking for a female 14-50 nema 50 amp female plug that I can connect to my custom length cable. This plug needs to be able to operate outdoors. Please reply back with products you have that meet these requirements, as of far I've not seen them. If you do not have them do you know where I can get good quality plugs, a majority on ****** are cheap and will likely end up melting or are unable to be safely used outdoors. Thanks, Ryan

Hi Ryan,
We do have a couple options for a 50 amp Nema 14-50 connection type female plug that can work in the outdoors that allows you to build your own power cord. One is just a plug and one is actually a plug and lead; for just the plug you can use the Mighty Cord Replacement Hardwire RV Plug - 50 Amp Female # A10-R50VP.
If you want the plug and lead (the wires on this are also 6 gauge) use the Mighty Cord Replacement Pigtail for RV Power Cord Extension - 50 Amp Female # A10-50PFVP.
