Question:
We have a 2019 Pace Arrow LXE 38K motorhome, single rear axle with duals. The rv is under 39foot total length. There really isnt a good place to mount the repeater on the outside. Knowing the display would be less than 30foot from the rear sensors, would the repeater be necessary? If so, could it be placed inside a basement compartment forward of the rear axle as long as it can be powered? Thank you!

Hey Greg. Since your 2019 Pace Arrow LXE 38K is a class A motorhome with a diesel engine, TireMinder says you need to mount the repeater, included with item # TM98FR, as close to the rear axle as possible. Their website specifically states to avoid installing the booster in compartments due to the signal being blocked.
TireMinder's website and installation manual's recommend to install the repeater booster underneath your motorhome to avoid signal interference from other wireless and electrical devices. You can try going without the booster.
What kind of valve stems does your motorhome have?

Thanks for the response, Jerred! Sorry for the delay in responding... We have metal valve stems on all rims. I charged the display today and will install the unit over the weekend if possible. (I have knee surgery tomorrow). I plan to install the repeater (booster) under the coach just behind the rear axle. The battery compartment is nearby, so power is readily available there.
