Looking For Replacement Tandem Axle Fender For Doolittle Trailer

Question:

I have a Doolittle trailer that I need to replace a tandem trailer fender. Measurements are 72x9x17. I see yours measuring 72x9x20.5. What is recommended to find another fender or do I need to cut off the extra height on yours?

Hello Scott, thanks for reaching out. Aluminum Fenders like the Tandem Axle Trailer Fenders for Enclosed Trailers # HP35VR can be cut if needed. While modifying a brand-new product would not necessarily be my first choice, cutting a few inches off the bottom should not be too difficult if you have the right tools. Obviously a fender that is a direct match for your specs would require a bit less work on your part, but if you are comfortable cutting them, the # HP35VR have the correct length and width so they will work great.
