Do you have a brake controller compatible with a 2019 Lincoln Nautilus?

Hey Gary,

For your 2019 Lincoln Nautilus I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller w/ Universal Wiring Harness # RED52VR. This brake controller has a super small control knob that you can hide in the dash instead of a brick to hit your knee on.

You'll want to check the trim panel below the steering column for a spot big enough for the control knob (1-7/8" long x 9/16" wide x 3/4" tall) to sit plus an extra inch or so in depth for the cable. You'll probably have to grind the plastic down a bit on the back side of the panel to get the mounting spot thin enough for the control knob to screw on. I use a razor blade and burr bit to thin out the panels if needed.

The wire harness will need to be spliced in the following manner:

Black - Run to 12v power with an inline circuit breaker # PK54230
White - Ground to frame or battery
Blue - Splice into trailer brake output wire in your 7-way
Red - Cold side of the brake light switch

The cold side of the brake light switch can be found by testing the wires coming off the brake pedal for the one wire that only has power when the pedal is depressed. You can also just install a stop light switch # RM-751000 and use it for the signal.

You'll also need 10 gauge wire # 10-2-1, ring terminals # 44-5356A, and heat shrink butt connectors # DW05745-5 to complete your installation.
