Improving Stability And Handling On Entegra VisionXL 34G

Updated 09/19/2024 | Published 09/14/2024

Question:

I have an Entegra VisionXL 34G. I believe it has the Fird F53 chassis, 22lb GMVW. Im interested in improving the steering stability. Centering bar, frint/rear sway bar upgrades, Simon towers. Do you have a trusted install we in Mission TX, or Omaha, NE?

Hey John, thanks for reaching out. We should have some great options for improving the handling and steering on your Entegra VisionXL 34G. Just let me know what year your coach was made, and I am happy to look into it and recommend parts.

As far as installers we do have a few in the areas you mentioned. I suggest checking with Reds RV Repair which is there in Mission, or try Countryside Repair which is in Arlington NE. The link below will show you our installer locator. Just enter your zip code and you can see the full list of installers nearest you.

Hi Jesse, the chassis is 2023 F-53 and the overall coach is 2024, Entegra Vision XL 34G. I've been under and looked a bit. We have about a 2" sway bar forward of the rear axel. The front axel has a track bar holding the leaf springs in position. The front sway bar is about 2" in diameter. There is a small damper on the cross bar between the two wheels. We have light brown colored Koni shocks. So... I know I need to have the alignment checked. O have that scheduled. I know I want a centering steering damper like the Safe T Steer or Roadmaster. Looking for recommendations. John

@JohnH Great! A steering stabilizer and aftermarket sway bars are going to make a very noticeable difference in stability and handling. Here is what I recommend for your 2024 Entegra Vision XL 34G on the 22K GVWR ford F53 chassis: - Roadmaster Exact Center Steering Stabilizer w/ Custom Brackets for Class A Motorhomes # RM82RR - Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar - 1-3/4" Diameter # RM25VR - Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar - 2-1/8" Diameter # RM72MR You can add all 3 at once if you really want to go for it. Usually what I suggest folks do it try the steering stabilizer first. If you are still unhappy with the ride quality, the sway bars can be added rear and front. With all 3 the ride is going to be very nice. Way less white knuckle driving on the highway. Let me know if there is anything else I can do.
