Hey Ed, the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly assemblies we carry like the 3,500-lb Axles - 10" Diameter - 5 on 4-1/2 - Pre-Greased # AKHD-545-35-K you purchased are pre-greased with Lithium complex, multipurpose grease.
For compatible grease I recommend the LubriMatic Multi-Purpose Lithium Grease # L11315.

Hey Ed, did the info about the lithium complex grease clear things up for you? Knowing what worked with your pre-greased hub could help others figure out the right grease for their setup too.
