Hello, everybody this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this 14 and 1/4" long equalizer for a three inch wide slipper springs. Now this equalizer's gonna connect your slipper springs on a tandem or triple axle trailer and it transfers the impact between the axles to ensure that the load is evenly distributed. This will result a nice smooth ride for your trailer and it does allow for 38" axle spacing. Now this equalizer's gonna suspend from a center hanger, the center hanger we do sell separately on our website. The center hanger will attach to the center bolt hole, the center bolt hole has a diameter of 1 1/8".
We mentioned it fits a three inch wide slipper leaf spring. It'll fit this one inch diameter with a one inch diameter eye, so basically you're gonna attach one of the ends of the spring with a bolt through this eye right here. And on the other end here you're gonna slip the arched end of the other spring into the equalizer on this end. As we mentioned overall length 14 and 1/4", height six inches tall. The inside width where your leaf spring's gonna go is three inches.
