Question:

I recently bought and installed a part # 13333. after installing the hitch . my bumper cap doesnt fit back on the truck . because it seems the bolt is to high .

It seems like some owners can put the cap back on and others cannot after installing Curt trailer hitch # 13333. It is possible that on your truck, and others affected, the hitch is pulled up tighter to the bumper causing the cap not to fit back on.

What you can try is to run the bolt in and out a few times to see if it can seat lower in its spot. You can also try changing the order when tightening the bolts because that can affect the position of the hitch.

If you have never removed the cap before you may need to clean it and where it fits because some dirt or debris could be causing some fit issues.
