For BW73FR the weight rating is 30,000lbs with a 2 5/16" ball, if I switch the ball to a 3" ball is the weight rating going to increases to 40,000lbs?

Hi Eric; the Hitch Ball for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch - 3" # BWGNXA2025 will increase the capacity of the # BW73FR. With the 3" ball installed you will match the 40,000 lb gooseneck towing capacity of your 2024 Ford F-450.
