Does this fold to the left and the right I want to install this in my garage but it needs to fold to the right.

Hello Karen. The Lend-a-Hand Extra Large Folding Grab Handle for RVs # AM-533 folds to both sides. So it can be folded to the left or to the right depending on your application.
