How to Tell if Keystone Cougar Has TPMS Prep Kit
Updated 01/27/2026 | Published 08/20/2024 >
Question:
I just bought a 2021 Cougar half-ton. How can I determine if it has the pre-installed TPMS prep kit? Where do I begin my search? It does have the In-Command system installed. Thank you

Hi Scott; I would look in your owner's manual if you have one. If you don't, I would reach out to Keystone with the VIN and they should be able to tell you. From what we have found in the past, having the prep kit doesn't really mean anything. You will be able to use the Tire Linc OneControl TPMS w/ Signal Booster for RVs and Trailers # LC37VR with and without it.

Hey Scott, were you able to find out if your Cougar had the TPMS prep kit after checking with Keystone? Knowing what you learned could help others trying to confirm the same thing on their trailers.
