Will the Yakima on-ramp XL fit a 2021 Jeep wrangler without a hitch extension?

By the looks of it, Randy, the Yakima OnRamp LX # Y88DJ appears as if it will hit the spare so I'd use a hitch extender # C45791 to push the rack out farther so it won't hit the spare.

I'd recommend measuring first to see if you'd even need the extender; if you have less than 12" from the center of the hitch pin hole to your spare, then you're going to need an extender.

Also, using a hitch extender is going to cut your hitch's capacity by 50% so keep that in mind.

Hey Randy, what did you find when you measured the distance from your hitch pin hole to the spare on your Wrangler? Once you had that number, were you able to tell if the Yakima OnRamp LX cleared the spare or if you needed the hitch extender? Your results could help others setting up a similar rack.
