Availability Of Control Board For PD52 Auto Transfer Switch

Question:

Mine PD52 auto transfer switch stopped switching to gen power when started. We experienced low voltage at a small park on a very hot afternoon. I switched to generator once when the mad dog detected low power and shut off and had it running for a while, but then switched back to shore power. After a while I tried to switch back to gen and it wouldn’t power coach. Generator sounds normal and works well, but now coach won’t transfer back from shore power. Can I purchase the control board from eTrailer? The wiring looks normal and no excessive heat indications in wiring.

Hello Tim, thanks for reaching out. We do offer the Progressive Dynamics # PD52 transfer switch, but unfortunately the control board for this unit is not available separately. The only solution we can offer is to replace the entire transfer switch with a new one.

@JesseM I did buy the full unit (PD52 transfer switch) replacement from eTrailer. I had eTrailer ship it directly to the new owner (of the toy hauler) who had an electrician buddy install it for him. It did resolve the problem. Thanks!
