Could Progressive Dynamics 50 Amp Auto Transfer Switch be Used in Home
Updated 08/30/2022 | Published 08/28/2022 >
Question:
Any chance these switches are suitable/rated as transfer for home generator hookup? Looking at 50 amp 240v subfeed single pole dual breaker, switching to emergency generator use when needed. I suspect they are not for home electrical panel use, but have to ask. Thanks,

There's no reason the Progressive Dynamics Transfer Switch # PD52 couldn't be used in a home application. This is a 240 volt/50 amp rated transfer switch that is safe to use in an RV or a house.
