Works fine with 50amp shore power but can I plug in 30 amp shore power with a adapter..?.

Yes, since the Progressive Dynamics Transfer Switch # PD52 is 120 and 240 volt compatible this will work fine with 30 amp as well as 50 amp. This 50 Amp transfer switch will allow you to hook up the 30 Amp shore power to the HOT 1 connection in the box. When you decide to upgrade to a 50 amp setup, you will use HOT 1 and HOT 2.
