How can I tell if my Truxedo LoPro needs a 1.5inch or wider 2-1/4inch rubber tailgate seal? The now disintegrated 1.5inch only covered about half the edge of the tailgate on my older GMC Sierra.

Susan, for your TruXedo Lo Pro Soft Roll-up Tonneau Cover # TX581601 you're going to want the Replacement Header Seal for TruXedo Lo Pro Soft Roll-up Tonneau Cover # TX1704787 which is going to be 1 1/2" wide x 5 1/2' long.
This is a direct replacement for your tonneau cover, so it will 100 percent work.
