What is Best Roof Rack Accessory Attachment Style

Question:

Jeep Grand Cherokee with Rhino Aero Vortex Bars. I carry a mix of a Pelican fishing kayak roughly 13inch high and 29 wide OR 2 stacked SUPs. I can believe with the vortex I can do T mount or adapter but would like to get it as far out on the bar as possible. Questions: 1 Any reason to go T-mount Vs. Adapter? Universal vs XL Is it a width or height limitation?? Thanks

Hey Brian, most people would agree that the channel mount attachment for roof rack accessories is the best like what the LockRack Watersport Carrier part # LR88FR provides. You get the most secure, cleanest looking, and most confusing to a thief attachment.

2nd question...what his the benefit of the XL? My Kayak is roughly 13" high. can that fit in the universal?

@Brian The XL only has a couple more inches of height when compared to the one we talked about. It's really not that big of a difference to justify being called XL.
