Question:
I have Thule WingBar Evo. Can you recommend saddle style channel mount kayak racks?

Hey Peter, thanks for reaching out!
I really like the LockRack Series-X # LR88FR because it mounts in the channels and makes it much easier to secure your kayak since the arms "clamp" and lock the kayak into place. The only other thing that's recommended is bow/stern tie-downs like the Yakima Kit # Y04031 to keep the front and back of your kayak from shifting at all.
You'll need the Series-X and a set of tie-downs for each boat you're carrying. Please note that at minimum the Series-X is 27-1/2" wide so you need to have long enough crossbars for this.
For something more cost-effective we have the Malone SaddleUp Pro # MPG1001 which is an all-in-one kit and is more of your standard style carrier.

Hey Peter, how did the LockRack Series-X work out with your Thule WingBar Evo setup? Did the clamping arms make loading and securing your kayak easier on the crossbars? Your update could make it easier for others looking for a channel-mount saddle option.
