Can You Stand On Mountain Top EVO-M Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover with Truck Bed Rack

Question:
Can you really stand.on this tonneau like the description says? I dont see anything in mountain tops site saying you can. Also, the tonneau can be stood on but the rail system only supports 165 pounds? Is that correct?

Hi Guy; the Mountain Top EVO-M Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover with Truck Bed Rack # MNT62FR has a capacity of 450 lbs on the tonneau cover. These capacities are when weight is evenly distributed. In our review video he is able to stand and sit on it because he isn't exactly a heavy guy.
There is no exact figure for it but if you are something like 250+ lbs I wouldn't stand on the cover. You could lay on it but putting all of that weight in a single spot while standing might result in damage. It might not cause damage but I wouldn't be willing to risk it unless I had no choice but to stand on it. The rack only supports 165 lbs that is correct.

what is the correct part # for the evo-m on a 2024 Ram 2500? I have a round fuel door, but definitely has the newer look and not a classic. Their site says a round fuel door means it's a classic though. Is that just a thing in Australia? mine is a DT
