Hello Stephen. The # DX39FR you mentioned is made to replace the inner member of the Dexter DX7.5L or the older Legacy actuator by UFP. These are the only two compatible actuator models. Regrettably, I do not have a way to look up your trailer to know what brand or model of actuator it was built with. Is there a sticker or tag anywhere on the actuator that shows the brand or model? If you can provide me with that info, I can certainly confirm fitment.
If the brand or model cannot be determined, I recommend replacing he entire actuator with a new one such as the Dexter DX7.5L Actuator # DX56FR which is for disc brakes and can be bolted on to the tongue.

Hey Stephen, did you find a brand or model tag on your Ranger trailer’s actuator to confirm if the DX39FR would fit? Once you have that info, I can help make sure you get the right master cylinder.
