Question:
I have a 2021 Salem fsx camper and I need to replace the leaf springs. The stocks ones that came on it snapped so a I need a more durable leaf spring I measured the spring at 25 3/4” but I don’t see that option. What size do I need?

Hey Matthew,
To properly measure double-eye leaf springs you'll need to lift the trailer by the frame to take the weight off of the springs. From there you'll measure from the center of one eye to the other. This measurement along with the axle capacity will help us determine the correct replacement leaf springs for your trailer. We can then look at some higher capacity alternatives.

Hey Matthew, did lifting the Salem FSX and remeasuring the leaf springs help you find the right size? Once you confirmed the eye-to-eye length and axle capacity, were you able to choose a stronger spring option? Your update could make it easier for others replacing broken springs on similar campers.
