Will the RV Cabinet Door Struts Mount Inside a 5" Tall Cabinet?

Question:
I have a 5inch frame height opening from top of the bottom cabinet face frame to the bottom of the top cabinet face frame. Will this unit work in this cabinet? [see photo attached]

Thanks for the picture! Yes, the RV Cabinet Door Struts item # 37270555 can be used on vertical cabinets that are only 5" tall. It would just be a matter of placing the strut where it would be able to extend and close. You might have to mount on back wall of the cabinet or on the floor of the cabinet.

Hey, how did the RV cabinet door struts end up working with your 5-inch cabinet opening? It sounds like mounting them on the back wall or floor could make a difference. Sharing what worked might help others with tight cabinet spaces too.
