What is the weight limit for holding a door open how heavy a door can this support?? Are installation instructions included?

There is no specified weight limit for the RV cabinet hinge # 37270555. Generally they will work with any size cabinet door found in an RV or camper. We have seen them used on doors wider than 2', and you can use 2 struts per door for larger doors if needed. We do also carry Metal door struts # 37270545 if you need something a bit stronger.
Instructions will be included. I was able to track down a picture of the instruction for the metal strut # 37270545 which I have included below.
