Thanks for reaching out, John. Some of the newer Jeep models have electric power steering which requires activation in order to stop the death wobbling. For the 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee you will need the MOPAR RV towing wiring harness kit #82216418AA. This is not something we carry here at etrailer, but you can source one thru your local Jeep dealership. The MOPAR kit will activate the power steering and prevent the death wobble.
Activating the power steering will put a drain on the vehicles battery, so I do recommend adding a charge line kit, part # RM-156-25 to keep the battery from draining. It is best to run the charge line thru a 6 pin plug on the front of the Jeep. The wiring kit # BX88206 can be used for this is you do not already have these components.

Hey John, were you able to get the MOPAR towing wiring harness and charge line kit set up on your Grand Cherokee? Knowing how that worked out could help others dealing with the same death wobble issue.
