Looking For Replacement Trailer Hubs For 5 on 4-1/2" Lug Pattern With LM11949 Bearing And LM11910 Ra

Updated 07/17/2024 | Published 07/10/2024

Question:

I am looking for a pregreased hub assembly for a straight spindle 3/4” 5 stud 4 1/2” trailer. The bearing and racers on old hub is LM 11949 and LM11910. Do you have this?

Hey Jason, LM11949 is a bearing that works with LM11910 race, and we do have idler hubs that match these specs while also fitting your 5 on 4-1/2 lug pattern. That said, you'll also want to check the inner bearing to verify that it is LM67048 (1.25" inner diameter). If it is, then Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2,500-lb Axles - 5 on 4-1/2 # DX22XR is the correct idler hub.

Keep in mind, these are not pre-greased so you will have to do that when they arrive. It is not hard to do by hand with LubriPlate Poly HP-2 Wheel Bearing Grease # L11465, but you can also make it easier by user a bearing grease packer like Powerbuilt Deluxe Bearing Packer # ALL647646.

I might not have made this clear. Both inner & outer bearing & racers are the LM11949 & 11910. The spindle is a straight 3/4” spindle it does not taper. I would need the whole hub assembly. Bearings, seals, racers, cap, & hub. Its for a 1982 shorelander trailer with i believe 10 or 12” tires.

@Jason I was not able to source any hubs on our site or any other site that have the LM11949 bearings for the inner AND the outer. Unless you can double check or somehow find a hub that fits it, you will need to cut off the spindle and have a shop weld on a common size that we can find hubs for. Or you may be better off just replacing the whole axle as that is usually more cost effective. Sorry I don't have better news Jason.
