Picking Out MorRyde Step for 2010 Keystone Cougar

Updated 02/04/2026 | Published 07/07/2024

Question:

Hello, Im interested in the MoRryde fold down steps. My camper is currently set up on a slope and Im not confident getting an accurate height to ground measurement from the door. I used your online fitment by entering make and model but it seems too short. Have you noticed discrepancy with this in the past? Camper make is Keystone Cougar 292RKS. Please reply with recommendations. Thank you.

Hey Aaron, our height suggestions for RV steps are generally pretty good but I ALWAYS recommend measuring to double check as there are always variables that can make the dimension different. The part # MR48RR has a height range of 34-36 inches which is next size up from the # MR98RR.

Hey Aaron, how did things turn out after you rechecked the height for your Keystone Cougar? Did the larger MoRryde steps end up being a better fit on the slope? Your update could make it easier for others working with uneven ground.

@JamesonC The steps I ordered were the right fit. I have plenty of adjustment either up or down. Width dimension is right on also.
