Clearance Needed To Fold Down MORryde StepAbove RV Steps In A Storage Lot

Question:
How much clearance do I need between the side of my trailer and RV bay wall to be able to open the steps while parked in the RV bay?

Expert Reply:
The MORryde StepAbove RV Steps for 23-3/4" to 26-1/4" Wide Doorways # MR98RR is going to be 36" in length from the hinge to the furthest part out. If you don't have enough clearance in your RV bay then you can detach these steps so you won't get locked out if you park in a tight storage lot where you can't fold the steps down. You'll just need to remove the pins from hinge plate to disconnect the steps so you can access your door.
