Can 1-1/2" Valterra RV Sewer Slip Hub with Flange Work as Fabricated Repair

The outlet fitting on my gray water tank was ripped off in accident. There is not a replacement tank available for my 2008 HiLo travel trailer so I am attempting to fabricate a repair using an ABS repair kit. My plan is to use the Valterra RV sewer slip hub with flange for 1.5 inch pipe part T1005-1 bolted to the tank repair to serve as the tank outlet a gray water pipe would connect this installed part to the gray water part of the dump valve. Am I correct that this selected part might work?

Hello Florian,
Yes, from how you described it, the 1-1/2" Valterra RV Sewer Slip Hub with Flange # T1005-1 might work for the fabricated connection you want to do. Since you mentioned ABS, for that use the Valterra ABS Solvent Cement # A05-0303.
